Summer camp for tomorrow's engineers.  The Gateway Academy is intended for sutdents entering 7th-9th grade and it's free.  The camp is August 9-13 at HCC Western Outreach Center from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all campers.  For more information pick up a brochure at the library or contact Sarah Boyd at 319-296-4247 or sboyd@hawkeyecollege.edu.  Register early before it fills up!

WELCOME RAGBRAI RIDERS TO THE CITY OF DIKE!

Regular council meetings have been changed to the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. 

Hours for the library are:  Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Also they will now be open through the noon hour.

Just a reminder: The fire department tests the sirens the first Wednesday of every month.

Recycling and Garbage information- Check out the Information Page.  We do not accept glass.  Magazines can be left with the newspapers.  Recycling bins are available on Front St. by the City Maintenance shed.
