If you are interested in being a lifeguard this summer at the pool, UNI Wellness Center is offering certification classes this spring.  Flyers are at the City office and school or contact Krsti O'Brien at 319/273-7263, certifications@uni.edu or kristi.orbien@uni.edu.

Regular council meetings have been changed to the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Hours for the library are:  Monday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Also they will now be open through the noon hour.  These hours are in effect until April 1st.

Regular Council Meeting: Wednesday, February 10, 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers.  There will be a public hearing about an ordinance for declaring a snow emergency.

Budget Meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, February 6 at 8:30 a.m.

Just a reminder: The fire department tests the sirens the first Wednesday of every month.

Recycling and Garbage information- Check out the Information Page.  We do not accept glass.  Magazines can be left with the newspapers.  Recycling bins are available on Front St. by the City Maintenance shed.
