Burning
During the months of OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH incinerator fires and rubbish fires shall only be allowed on MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY from NOON TO 6:30 P.M. In no event shall any fire be allowed on SUNDAY OR LEGAL HOLIDAYS during these months. All burning shall be supervised by a competent person at all times. There shall be no burning of garbage. No burning on any city street at any time.
Pet Registration Information
Every dog and cat more than three (3) months of age must be registered ANNUALLY, before July 1st at the City Office. The registration fee shall be $3.00 per year for neutered or spayed dogs or cats, $10.00 per year for all others. Owners shall present veterinarian’s certificate as proof of neutering or spaying and as proof of rabies vaccination at time of registration. It shall be unlawful for any owner of a dog or cat to allow or permit such animal to pass upon the premises of another thereby causing damage to, or interference with the premises.
Community Center & Park Shelter Rental
The park shelter can be rented for $20 with a $10 deposit. Community or family gatherings are often held in the Dike Memorial Building which is complete with full kitchen.
