Recreation

Dike has excellent recreation facilities, including a modern swimming pool with high and low boards, a wading pool, water slide, steps built into the low end for easy access and wheelchair-accessible shower facilities.

If tennis is your game, try one of our four lighted, newly resurfaced tennis courts. There are also two outdoor raquetball courts, a outdoor basketball court, shelter house, and play equipment, all in the vicinity of the pool/tennis court complex on 7th St. There are several other parks in town, including a large playground next to the elementary school and the city park and shelter.

There is a recreational trail in Dike for you to walk, run or ride your bike on.  It goes from the soccer field at the end of 7th Street through town and connects with the Grundy County Lake trail.
